Dr. Elizabeth Radday will present
on her Fulbright experience in Finland

Strategies Department Chair Elizabeth Radday spent six months in Finland (January-June 2016) researching the Finnish education system as a Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching grantee. Finland continues to top the charts on international tests of school comparison. As part of the program, she visited over twenty schools of different grade levels to learn more about special education and teaching in Finland’s highly regarded education system. Dr Radday will describe what she learned and ways to make small changes that could make a big difference for students in the United States. She will also share stories about her family’s experiences with Finnish culture as she and her husband, Adam, and their two young daughters navigated the norms of living less than 300 miles from the Arctic Circle.
